Happy Halloween!

Hey, friends! I hope all of you are having a safe and Happy Halloween. Today is fun around here for a couple reasons: this is the first year Nico will be able to do some (light) trick-or-treating, and it is my golden birthday!

For those of you who don’t know, a golden birthday is when you turn the age of the day you were born. For example, I was born on 10/31 so my golden birthday is when I turn 31! I’m looking forward to spending the night handing out candy to trick-or-treaters after we put Nico to bed.

I used to think I would dread getting older, but it’s starting to have the opposite effect. Every year I feel happier and more in tune with myself. I can’t wait to see what 31 has to bring.
